It can be hard to find healthy options in airports and on airplanes. However, it is possible to find these types of food if you know where to look. The following foods are great choices for travelers who want to eat healthfully during their trip:

Airfare is the amount of money charged for a passenger to travel between two locations on an airline. Airfares are affected by economic conditions, market demand, fuel costs, airport fees, competition, taxes and government regulations.

Airfares can be paid in a variety of ways including cash, check or credit card. Airline tickets can also be paid in another currency other than the currency of the originating country. For example, a U.S. airline may charge an airfare in pounds sterling if the ticket is purchased in Great Britain.

Airline tickets are more expensive during peak travel times such as holidays and summer due to greater demand. Airlines sometimes offer discounts called “sales” on airfares that last a short period of time (usually 1 to 3 days).
