The surveys listed above are the most prominent among them and were conducted by a number of well-known companies and organizations such as Visa’s Global Travel Intentions Survey, National Geographic’s Traveler Magazine and Conde Nast Traveler Magazine.

The survey data was analyzed in order to determine the top 5 most popular travel destinations in terms of the number of international tourist arrivals, average days spent for vacation on those destinations, total spendings and other factors related with tourism.
