The goal of this blog is to create a community of travelers who are writing about their travel experiences while they’re going through the airport. The idea is that you would write your own story and read others in order to see what your experience will be like while you’re going through. That way you know what to expect, what to prepare for and how to get the most out of your time at the airport.

Welcome to In-Lounge. Our staff will escort you through the security process and provide you with a comfortable, private space to relax before your flight.
You are in good hands. Our staff is experienced with LAX’s security rules and procedures, and will make certain that you are prepared for your trip through the airport. We want you to have a pleasant and hassle-free travel experience.
Please follow these simple steps:

* Step 3: Return Your Luggage
* Step 4: Board Your Flight
The in-lounge security checkpoint is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and all passengers must pass through this checkpoint before boarding their flight. This checkpoint does not provide access to the rest of the airport.
After passing through the initial in-lounge security checkpoint, you will find yourself in a holding area, where passengers will queue for final boarding once boarding has begun.
Because there is no TSA pre-check at this location, you will need to remove your laptop from any bag or case and place it in a bin separately as part of the screening process. The ticket counters are located in this area, so if you lose your ticket or need to check bags, you can do so here and then join the screening line again with your new ticket.
When it is time for final boarding, you will be escorted by our team members through a second security checkpoint where you will go through standard Transportation Security Administration (TSA) screening procedures (including removing shoes) and then board your plane directly from the lounge. Once on board, you will receive complimentary snacks and beverages on your flight home
As you and your family approach the security checkpoint at LAX, please be sure to have all of your travel documents ready and accessible. Keep in mind that there are several areas where you may need to present these documents. You will find these areas both before and after the security checkpoint. Please have these documents ready before you arrive at the airport so that you can avoid unnecessary delays.
If you are traveling with any children, you may want to consider bringing a stroller to help transport them through the airport. Most strollers can pass through security as long as they are folded up prior to entering the checkpoint. If you need to store your stroller once inside, you will find storage areas provided for this purpose.
