Its main base is Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila, with a hub at Mactan-Cebu International Airport, Cebu City.

Breeze Airlines was founded on August 21, 2013 by the founder and CEO of Breeze Holdings Inc., Jose Maria Garchitorena. In 2014, the airline began operations, offering low cost flights from Cebu to Hong Kong and from Cebu to South Korea. In 2015, Breeze Airlines became a subsidiary of Breeze Holdings Inc., along with Breeze Holdings’ other subsidiaries such as Breeze Rent-A-Car and Breeze Travel & Tours. In 2016, Breeze Airlines began operations in its new base of operations located at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila. The airline continues to offer flights within Asia.
