Most charter flights operate from smaller airports which may not offer as many flights as larger airports. For example, if you are flying from Europe to Turkey you may find that charter airlines only fly from your closest airport to Istanbul, so you would have to get another flight or bus/coach transfer to the resort of your choice.

The next thing to do is find out how long it will take for the aircraft to fly from your departure location (point A) to your destination (point B). We do this by checking something called a Great Circle Mapper which calculates the distance between points on a sphere (the Earth).
