Redefining Personal Safety

Personal safety. Personal protection. Two phrases that mean the same thing: to protect yourself and those around you. But how do you define personal safety and why is it important? What are some ways we can personally keep ourselves safe?

Let’s discuss some of these questions and more.

Personal safety is defined as “freedom from harm or danger.” It’s no secret that our world is changing. With ever-increasing crime rates, we need to take a stand for our own safety. While there may be times when we are not able to help the crime rate of our city or state, there are certainly ways in which we can protect ourselves and those around us.

One of the best ways to personally keep yourself safe is by having a self-defense class. There are many different types of self-defense classes available, including Krav Maga, martial arts, or even mixed martial arts (MMA) training. These classes will give you the tools necessary to protect yourself in case an attack happens while also boosting your confidence levels when in public places, such as shopping malls, grocery stores, etc…

I’m writing this blog because I want to teach people the importance of personal safety. I don’t just mean guns, weapon permits, etc., but personal safety in general.

Nowadays, with all the new technology, it is easier than ever for criminals to get control of your information. While we think we are better off with all this new technology, it is actually making us more vulnerable.

Even in my lifetime, I have seen an increase in crimes against people and their personal property. It is important that everyone keeps an eye out for themselves and others around them. You never know when a crime could happen.

I am not a professional when it comes to crime or law enforcement; however, I have experienced several significant events throughout my life that have impacted my views on the issue. I’m not saying that my views on crime are always right or applicable to everyone’s situation; however, I would like to share some very important things that have happened to me over the years.

Whether you are at home, in the office or out on the town, personal safety is something that should be a priority in your daily life. While it might seem like the world is becoming more and more dangerous each day, there are ways to avoid those dangers and keep yourself safe regardless of where you go.

If you have children, it is even more important to make sure that they know how to remain safe when you can’t be around to protect them.

There are a lot of different ways that you can work toward making sure that you are always safe and secure no matter where you go. From taking simple steps like carrying pepper spray or learning simple self-defense techniques, to carrying a personal security device with you at all times, there are many things that you can do.

The articles on this site will help to inform and educate you about personal safety and security while also providing useful tips and tricks so that no matter what situation arises, you will have the tools necessary to protect yourself.

Personal safety is a hot topic these days. With crime rates increasing, there is an air of fear and caution that pervades our lives. People are always looking over their shoulders and being careful to not walk down any dark alleys. But how often do we think about the personal safety aspect when we are at home?

The truth is that most people don’t think about their personal safety when they are home. We feel like we are safe in our own homes, tucked away in a small town or suburban neighborhood where everyone knows each other and crime is almost non-existent.

However, this is actually not true! Crime rates have risen at an alarming rate over the past decade, especially in the suburbs where most people feel safe and secure. In fact, studies show that over 50% of all crimes occur within one mile radius of your own home!

Even more frightening, nearly 40% of those crimes involve children under 18 years old! These statistics may be hard to believe but they’re all too real for many families who have had their homes broken into or seen their child attacked on the way home from school each day.

So what can we do about it? How can we keep ourselves safe from potential dangers lurking around every corner? The answer might surprise you:

I am a helicopter pilot for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. I work in a unit that is considered to be an elite team of pilots and flight crew within the department. Our unit is called the Air Rescue 5 helicopter located at Long Beach Airport in Southern California. In addition to our normal patrol duties, we are frequently tasked with supporting search and rescue efforts, law enforcement operations, and firefighting efforts throughout Southern California.

The Bell 407 is an agile, highly maneuverable light utility helicopter powered by one Rolls-Royce 250-C47B turbine engine with a dual channel full authority digital engine control (FADEC) system. It has a four-bladed main rotor system, with soft-in-plane flex beams, and composite blades.

“I am very pleased with the Bell 407GX. It is a very comfortable, productive and stable helicopter, which is the result of continuous development of the Bell 407 platform. I have been flying helicopters for more than 40 years and this is one of the best helicopters I have ever flown.”

The Bell 407 is an upgrade version of the Bell 206L-4 LongRanger helicopter. The helicopter has been developed with a 5,500lb maximum gross weight to enable it to carry additional payload, improving operator mission flexibility.

The new helicopter has a conventional tail cone and the main rotor blades have been redesigned for improved performance. The cabin has been lengthened by 10in and the cockpit features a glass cockpit with four LCD displays, based on the Bell 427 design.

The helicopter incorporates dual digital automatic flight control system (DAFCS) and is also equipped with a digital audio communication system (DACS). The helicopter can be optionally fitted with a cargo hook, rescue hoist, emergency flotation system and tailboom strake kit.

The engine is mounted at the aft end of the fuselage. The cockpit accommodates two pilots in side-by-side configuration and the cabin can carry up to six passengers in addition to pilot and co-pilot.
