How the AFJROTC Program Works
The Cadets then take turns flying the plane, with each Cadet getting a chance to fly solo. The flight instructor provides guidance and feedback to the students, helping them to improve their flying skills.

The Instructors and Equipment
The flight training program is led by experienced and certified flight instructors who have a deep understanding of aviation and a passion for teaching.
They learned to fly a Cessna 172, a Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee, a Beechcraft Bonanza, and a Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee. They also learned to fly a helicopter, a Bell 206B-3 JetRanger. AFJROTC Cadets learned to fly in a variety of conditions, including low visibility, high winds, and night flying.
