Ukrainian Airlines is a private charter airline that offers flights to South Africa from several cities in Europe. The company is offering scheduled service on six different routes to Johannesburg and Cape Town with one-way flights starting at $500 per person. Flights will depart from Athens, Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Helsinki and Luxembourg City. Ukrainian Airlines has been flying charter flights since 1992 and has operated more than 5,000 flights with nearly half a million passengers flown.

The company is an IATA member and was recently certified by the IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit). This certification is considered an important international safety benchmark for airlines worldwide. Ukrainian Airlines currently offers flights to destinations around the world including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia and Europe. The airline is offering scheduled service on six different routes to Johannesburg (JNB) and Cape Town (CPT) with one-way fares starting at $500 per person.

Ukrainian Airlines is a Ukrainian airline based in Kiev. It operates scheduled domestic and international passenger services, as well as charter flights. The airline was established on September 30, 1992, as a successor of Aerosvit Airlines. It started operations on October 7, 1992 with a flight from Kiev to London Gatwick Airport and has been operating under its current name since March 28, 1995.

The airline’s main hub is at Boryspil International Airport outside Kiev. Other important bases are at Donetsk International Airport and Odessa International Airport.

The airline’s livery consists of the colors red, white and blue of the Ukrainian flag on their aircraft tail fins.

With the advent and growth of low cost carriers in South Africa, many new international flight options have opened up for travellers. On the downside, however, it has become harder to find good quality service at an affordable price. With this in mind we look at one such carrier – Ukrainian Airlines.

Ukrainian International Airlines (UIA) was founded in 1992, shortly after the collapse of the Soviet Union and operates from its hub at Kiev Boryspil International Airport. The airline flies to over 40 destinations, including Johannesburg and Cape Town.

In recent years it has been operating routes from Kiev to Johannesburg, via Dubai. These flights are now offered on a daily basis with a stopover in Dubai or alternatively, a direct flight on Saturdays. UIA is also considering flights to Cape Town as well as other regional routes across Southern Africa.

Ukrainian International Airlines (UIA) is a Ukrainian airline established in 1992 after the break-up of the Soviet Union. The airline is based in Kiev, Ukraine and offers flights to over 60 destinations around the world including London, Paris, Rome, Frankfurt, Rome and Amsterdam. UIA also has a long history of flying routes to South Africa.

The airline currently flies direct flights twice weekly between Cape Town and Kiev using their Boeing 737 aircraft. This flight route commenced on 12 May 2009 with only one weekly flight but was increased to twice weekly by November 2009. This flight route is expected to increase further to four times weekly later this year and will form part of UIA’s planned expansion which will see them flying to New York, Chicago and Toronto in North America; Dubai and Tel Aviv in the Middle East; Mumbai in India; Singapore and Bangkok in Asia; Nairobi in Africa and more European destinations including Barcelona, Milan and Nice.

They are also planning an additional flight route from Johannesburg to Kiev but there are no firm dates yet for this new service. The current flight route from Cape Town via Kiev connects South Africans with a wide range of European cities that can be

Ukrainian International Airlines flies between Kiev and Johannesburg 4 times a week. This service has been operating for some time now and is an excellent option for passengers who reside in Ukraine, or are looking to travel from other parts of Europe via Kiev to South Africa.

The airline operates its flights from Kiev’s Boryspil Airport at Terminal D, which is the home of the majority of airlines flying long haul routes. The airline uses their Boeing 767-300 aircraft on this route, which offers a 2 class service with Business and Economy Class cabins.

The Kiev to Johannesburg flight flies over 4 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday) departing Kiev at 12h05pm and arriving into Johannesburg at 19h55pm. The return flight then departs Johannesburg at 23h20pm arriving into Kiev at 05h45pm the following day.

Ukrainian International Airlines is part of the Sky Team Alliance which means that passengers can earn Alliance loyalty points on these flights.

Ukrainian Airlines is an airline that has been flying since 1992 that began as a charter flight service out of Kiev, Ukraine. The airline offers non-stop flights from Kiev to Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa. It has now added a direct flight between Kiev and New York’s JFK Airport.

The airline is the fastest growing airline in Eastern Europe and flies to over 60 destinations. Ukrainian Airlines was one of the first airlines to begin using the Boeing 767 for its overseas flights, which were previously all operated by Russian built planes.

Ukraine International Airlines (UIA), the national airline of Ukraine, has one of the youngest fleets in Europe and is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). As of 2011, UIA is the second largest air carrier in Ukraine. The airline has its main hub at Kiev International Airport (KBP), with a secondary hub located at Lviv International Airport (LWO).

UIA offers flights to Africa and South Africa via their Kiev hub. The Airline flies non-stop from Kiev to Johannesburg (JNB) on a scheduled service every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. There is also a flight from Kiev to Cape Town on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a connecting flight from Kiev to Cape Town via Johannesburg.

The aircraft that operates these flights is an Airbus A330-200. The A330-200 features 18 Business Class seats and 253 Economy Class seats. Inflight entertainment is offered on individual seat back screens throughout the aircraft and passengers are able to enjoy a variety of movies, TV shows, music videos, games and other entertainment options.

Inflight dining options include a light meal featuring soup or sandwiches served with tea or coffee as well as snacks throughout the flight which may include fruit platters, sushi or cheese plates. Pass
