1.Keep it simple.
2.Choose a high-quality photo.

We’ve all been there: sitting in front of our laptops or smartphones trying to figure out what we should wear for our LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, or Tinder profile picture. You look at yourself in the mirror and think, “This just isn’t working.” Well I’m here to tell you that it doesn’t have to be that way.
Social Media is one of the most powerful tools we have for building and maintaining relationships. With all the time you spend on social media, it wouldn’t hurt to put a little more effort into it.
So let’s get right into it:
1) The Basics
Make sure your clothes are clean and pressed. Some people say that if you want to know what’s really important to someone, just look at their closet. Do they take care of their things? Do they take pride in their appearance? The same goes for your online image as well. Your clothes don’t have to be expensive but they do need to look good and fit properly.

What Is Most Important in a Profile Picture?
If you were to put a picture of yourself on your resume, what would it look like? Would it be more casual or professional? Would it look more like your driver’s license picture or a photo taken by a photographer? Which one do you think would impress employers more?
In an age where we are constantly updating our social media accounts and sharing information about ourselves on the internet, I believe that there are three core components that make up a great profile picture:
1. A clear image (good lighting and focus)
2. A confident posture (standing tall with good eye contact)
3. A friendly expression (smiling with teeth showing)
Your social media profile picture is a lot like your first impression. It is the one thing that people will see before they decide whether or not to follow your account, or connect with you on LinkedIn. Because of that, it’s important to be intentional about what you’re wearing in these pictures.
Here are a few tips to get the most out of your profile picture:
-Wear something that you feel confident and comfortable in. If you wear something too tight or itchy, you’ll be thinking about how uncomfortable you are during the shoot instead of being present and smiling!
-Bold patterns, such as large stripes, can become distorted when cropped for a square image. Wearing something with small patterns can add texture and dimension to your picture without becoming overwhelming.
-Colors can look very different on screen than they do in person. Be sure to pick out clothes that look good on camera and not just at home in front of your mirror!
-If you’re taking a group picture for Instagram, try to coordinate all of your outfits so that everyone looks cohesive. This doesn’t mean everyone has to wear the exact same thing, but having similar tones and patterns makes for a more polished look.
-If your photo isn’t going to be

When it comes to social media your profile picture is one of the first things people see. It’s important to create a good impression, especially when it comes to your business. But what should you wear? This can be a tricky one.
The first thing you need to consider is your audience. What are they interested in? What are they looking for? The second thing you need to consider is how you want to come across. Are you professional, approachable, fun? Or all 3!
If you’re unsure about how you want to come across, here are some pointers…
You want to appear professional – Keep it simple. Your clothes shouldn’t take people’s attention away from your face and eyes. Try not to wear too many patterns or bright colours and avoid busy backgrounds.
You want to appear approachable – Dress as if you were going out with friends or meeting a client for coffee. Think smart casual. People will be more likely to connect with someone who appears down-to-earth and friendly rather than stiff and formal.
You want to appear fun – By all means wear something that makes you stand out from the crowd but keep it appropriate! Don’t go over the top as this may put
