Travelling is one of those things that sounds so glamorous, but then it’s not always glamorous. You end up having your bags lost at the airport, you get stuck in a layover for an entire day, or you don’t know where your hotel is in a new city. But sometimes it can be so glamorous. Like when you arrive at your destination and see the sun set over the ocean. Or when you are standing in front of a castle that has been there for hundreds of years and think about how many people have stood there before you. These moments make it all worth it, and these moments are why travelling is so amazing.
I love to travel. But, I hate to fly. Flying is so uncomfortable and I can’t sleep on planes (I know, I’m weird). It doesn’t help that I’ve seen Snakes on a Plane, Flightplan and Red Eye too many times (I know it’s not real, but that doesn’t stop me from being scared of it).
But despite the fact that I hate flying and am terrified of it, I still go places. So in this blog, I want to talk about my travels and the places that I go to. Like if you really want to know my top 10 list of places to go, this is the place to go.
I also hope that by writing this blog, maybe I can get over my fear of flying. So far, no luck.
