30 Airline Miles Per Dollar – The Fastest and Easiest Ways To Earn Airline Miles

Airlines offer the opportunity to earn miles with credit cards and other ways. I’m going to explain the fastest and easiest ways to earn airline miles. There are two reasons for this:

1) Earning 30 Airline Miles Per Dollar

2) Fastest and Easiest Ways To Earn Airline Miles

Some people like to spend as little as possible on their credit cards. If that is you, then you should only use your credit card for essentials like groceries, gas, and utility bills. This helps you avoid impulse spending on other items that could get you in trouble. The average household spends about $1,300 a month on these types of items. That means you could earn 39,000 miles every year just by spending money that you are already spending!

For example, if we use the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card (which earns 2x points per dollar on travel and dining), we can earn up to $120 worth of points by spending $3,000 in the first three months of account opening. That’s 4x points per dollar which is higher than most cards offer. Also, it’s worth keeping in mind that not all travel-related purchases will earn 2x points per dollar with this card so don’t expect a huge amount of bonus rewards

Feb 13, 2008 … Airlines have to get you there and back for that. So if you’re offered 30 airline miles per dollar spent, the airline is giving away a value of 3-4 cents per mile. The lowest prices airlines will offer on flights are often somewhere in this range.

However, it’s always good to do some research before buying. To be sure, check the prices of the same flights on other websites to see what they cost there. If they’re too much higher or lower, don’t book with the airline miles offer. It’s probably a scam!

If you have a credit card that offers airline miles, you’ll want to use it as much as possible. You don’t want to waste money on interest, of course, so it’s important to pay the balance in full every month. But if you do, you can use your airline miles credit card for virtually all of your spending.

If you shop online, some sites offer extra miles for purchases made through their websites. For example, at the time I’m writing this (May 2005), Amazon.com is offering 30 airline miles per dollar spent when purchasing through Delta’s website. If you spend $1,000 per month at Amazon and buy from Delta, that’s 30,000 airline miles per year – enough for a free roundtrip domestic ticket!

People who fly a lot have credit cards that give them frequent flier miles, but they cost more than ordinary cards and are hard to get. The author has found a way around this: he uses his regular credit card to buy money orders, then uses the money orders to pay his bills. This earns airline miles without paying an annual fee.

This is legal, but it’s not something the bank that issues the credit card wants him to do. Why not? Because it costs them money. It’s not easy to issue and redeem frequent fllier miles, so banks don’t want their customers using airline miles as currency, since doing so undermines the whole point of having money in the first place: efficient exchange.

The author describes this as an “arbitrage” and a “loophole.” But I think he’s missing the point of arbitrage and loopholes. If you can use frequent flier miles instead of cash for all your purchases, that makes your job as consumer easier and your job as producer harder. That means there is a mispricing somewhere in the system that arbitragers will notice and exploit until it disappears.

The author says he’d like to see airlines offer more services that could be paid for with frequent flier miles, so

I recently flew from Tucson to Colonial Beach, VA to visit friends. It was a very cheap flight and I had a great time. Southwest Airlines is a great way to travel and it’s more fun than flying on other airlines.

I flew into Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) on Southwest Airlines. The flight was not full, as it was very early in the morning.

The flight was totally uneventful–the way I like my flights. I find that the best flights are usually when nothing out of the ordinary happens!

I read the paper and did some crossword puzzles on the flight, which passed very quickly.

The trip from BWI to Colonial Beach is about 2 hours by car. My friend picked me up at the airport and we made good time getting to his house, even with rush hour traffic.

If you are like most people, you probably have some credit card debt that you would love to get rid of. In fact, you may have so much debt that getting out from under it seems impossible. Believe it or not, there is a real secret to getting your credit card debt eliminated quickly and easily.

The secret is to refinance the credit card debt. A lot of people don’t realize it, but it is possible to refinance the credit card debt just like you would refinance your mortgage. The only difference is that instead of refinancing through a bank or mortgage lender, you will be refinancing through a company that specializes in refinancing credit card debt. If you can find a company that will refinance your debt at a lower interest rate than what you are currently paying, then making the switch will help you eliminate your debt in record time!

Obviously it is important to find companies that will offer the best interest rates available on refinanced debt. There are many sites online that can help you with this task by comparing different companies and their rates for consolidating and refinancing credit card debt. Make sure you check these sites out before choosing which company to go with for your consolidation loan!
